Sherrie R. Savett is a managing shareholder at the law firm of Berger & Montague, P.C. and a chair of their Securities Litigation and False Claim Act/Whistleblower/Qui Tam Practices. She is an active commercial litigator who has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Philadelphia Magazine in every year for more than a decade. Sherrie is the immediate past President of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia (JFGP), having served a 3-year term from 2011-2014. She is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and Trustees of JFGP.
Nationally, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Jewish Federations of North America. She also serves on the Board of the American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Mid-Atlantic Region and Philadelphia Chapter. She was formerly General Co-chair of State of Israel Bonds for this region and Vice President of the Board of Directors of National Liberty Museum where she still serves on its Board. She received her B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) and J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. In her spare time she enjoys tennis, biking, travel, collecting art, especially glass and sculpture, and first and foremost, spending time with children and grandchildren.
