Communities are filled with grief, anger, shock. Throughout our great land, people are experiencing helplessness, bewilderment, anger, post-traumatic stress.
What is happening is a travesty to the human spirit?
What do we tell our children about what is happening?
No matter what your beliefs, carnage is NOT part of the American ethic/system/Constitution, and the word and concept should never be part of the American lexicon.
Portraying one’s ideology of superiority, intolerance and hatred through acts of violence is NOT bravery, but is a mask for insecurity and weakness
Staging one’s own private wars on American soil is NOT a right granted by the Constitution.
What do we do as a country — as humans — to show our human-ness?
