For gatherings… in person Last year's Covid pandemic restrictions kept us separated from family and friends
For our scientists, doctors, infectious disease pioneers who have made our lives safer with Covid vaccines and the many boosters, which have allowed us to resume daily socialization and our kids' return to school
Valediction that for the most part, America's voters wanted to ditch "The Crazy" and return to "normal' (non-extremism)
Democracy and making our voices heard by being able to vote -- fair elections
Opportunities to celebrate our diverse ancestries but rejoice in our shared values
Grateful that the world leaders have outlined protocols to mitigate the ravages of climate change at the COP27 UN Climate Summit in Egypt
I am grateful for opportunities of philanthropy. Our foundation has formed alliances with other nonprofits and helped fund their sustainable programs that fight hunger, hate, racism, bigotry, antisemitism, commercial sexual exploitation, and domestic violence.
And I am so grateful for the mundane things, like everything pumpkin: muffins, bread, hand soap candles, and lattes. Oh Joy!
